Robert I. Berry, Ph.D. President
Dr. Berry serves as the president of DNT. Dr. Berry has been involved in the technology and research field for 26 years and has founded four companies and consortia to advance the use of technology and research. Dr. Berry most recently served as the president and CEO of the Central Michigan University Research Corporation and as the chief technology officer at Central Michigan University. Dr. Berry received his doctorate from Northern Arizona University, where he was a faculty member and was Assistant Director of Research.
Debra L. DeLau, CPA Financial Controller
Debbie DeLau is responsible for the financial and human resource activities of DNT and a member of the management team. She completed her studies in Accounting at Central Michigan University. Prior to studying at CMU, she received a bachelors degree in liberal arts from the University of Louisville. Debbie is a Certified Public Accountant and practiced in the public accounting field for 6 years before leaving the public sector and joining Dendritic Nanotechnologies, Inc. in 2003.
Ryan Hayes,
Ph.D. Director of Business Development
Dr. Hayes is responsible for the business development activities of DNT which include interfacing with potential business partners and coordinating sales of DNT's dendrimer materials. His experience includes work as a microbiologist, water filtration specialist, research scientist, and educator. He received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 2002. He joined Dendritic Nanotechnologies, Inc. in 2005 to help commercialize dendrimers.
Lori Reyna, Ph.D. Director of Life Sciences
Dr. Reyna is responsible for leading the Life Sciences Division as well as managing commercial research projects and collaborations that involve the application of dendrimers for innovative research reagents and pharmaceutical products. With a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology from the University of Miami and extensive research experience in areas including molecular cardiology, angiogenesis, apoptosis, toxicity and related cell signaling mechanisms in cell biology, she has developed and implemented projects ranging from the cytotoxicity evaluation of dendrimers to the encapsulation and release profiles of dendritic structures for use as drug or small molecule carriers. With nearly a decade of experience in the transfection of primary and immortalized cell lines with DNA, siRNA and antisense systems, Dr. Reyna’s current focus is the development of dendrimers as siRNA transfection reagents for in vitro and in vivo use.
